Merton is the secondary antagonist of Beverly Cleary's book "Runaway Ralph" and its TV special. He is a kitten and Catso's son. He is being taught how to catch mice by his father.
One time, Ralph tricks Merton into catching a fake one.
Merton was voiced by Edan Gross in the TV special.
